A ceremony was held Tuesday marking the departure of the 24th contingent of the Cheonghae Unit for Somali waters.
The ceremony was hosted by Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Um Hyun-seong at the Navy’s Fleet Command Headquarters in Busan with Fleet Commander Vice Admiral Jung Jin-sub, EU Ambassador to South Korea Michael Reiterer and the families of the dispatched forces in attendance.
