Over 6,000 civilians flee to Eastern Mindanao

A TOTAL of 6,379 evacuees, who were displaced due to the ongoing terrorist attack and armed clashes perpetrated by the Maute Terror Group, are in different areas of the Eastern Mindanao Command (Easmincom) to seek refuge.
Brigadier General Gilbert Gapay, martial law spokesperson and deputy commander of Easmincom, said in their latest data, thousands have already sought evacuation in some of their areas in northern part of Mindanao.
