Head of Governance and Assurance
Dorota is responsible for compliance, governance, quality systems, legal and she oversees HR . She ensures that MAST and our personnel follow the laws, regulations, standards, and ethical practices that apply to provision of security services. In other words, it is her role to make sure that MAST provides quality services in a compliant manner. Dorota also advises on legal requirements for MAST and ensures that MAST activities are appropriately insured
Auditing, spot-checking, policies, procedures, contract management and maritime security have been her bread & butter for over 18 years. Following an academic research career path at the London Shipping Law Centre, University College London, Dorota has joined commercial security consultancy, training and EOD industry. Prior to that, she has been responsible for implementation of ISPS Code at maritime governmental agency in Gdynia, Poland and a member to maritime security advisory body at the Ministry of Infrastructure.
Dorota is a scholar of British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and she also graduated in Maritime Law, obtaining a postgraduate degree (LLM) at the University of Southampton.
Outside of work, she is a busy mum. She loves reading books and listening to, sometimes very loud, music. Her most recently read books are those written by Michelle and Barrack Obama and Niccolo Machiavelli.
