The Armed Forces of the Philippines-Eastern Mindanao Command (AFP-EastMinCom) yesterday said it has further intensified its border crossing security with the creation of an interagency border security council to prevent terrorist and other transnational crime syndicate from using the country’s backdoor as entry point.
During the interagency meeting held at the Eastern Mindanao Command headquarters at Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City on Wednesday, the interagency attendees discussed and provided inputs on southern border security enhancement.
