Fighting in Yemen resumes as 48-hour ceasefire ends

NEW YORK , Nov. 22 (MNA) – The 48-hour cessation of hostilities in Yemen has expired and renewed fighting has been reported, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s spokesman Stéphane Dujarric told reporters on Monday.

The armed conflict in Yemen had clearly resumed as the both sides reported ceasefire violations, including airstrikes and ground clashes, Dujarric said Monday.
