As The Guns Go Quiet In Niger Delta, Oil Output Rises to 2.1 Million Barrels Per Day

Nigeria’s gloomy oil production cut seems to have abated with a reported rise in crude output to 2.1 million barrels a day, the Group Managing Director of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, Maikanti Baru was quoted as saying by Reuters.
“We are hoping that by the end of 2017 we should ramp up production to above 2.2 million barrels (per day),” Maikanti Baru told an oil conference in Abuja.
