Indian Navy Rescues Cargo Ship From Piracy Attack

Indian Navy’s stealth cruiser INS Trishul thwarted a piracy attack on an Indian bulk carrier in the Gulf of Aden.
Navy spokesperson Captain D K Sharma said that the attempt was made on Indian bulk carrier MV Jag Amar at 12:30 PM on October 6. However, the Indian Navy, which was on an anti-piracy deployment in the region, responded immediately. He also said that all 26 crew aboard the ship were safe.
