KOTA KINABALU, Nov 9 — Indonesia’s Foreign Ministry advised the country’s fishermen in Sabah to avoid going out to sea in the east coast following the rash of kidnappings in which a dozen or so Indonesians captured recently.
According to Indonesian news site Antara, the Consulate General of Kota Kinabalu Protection Task Force chief Hadi Syarifuddin urged fishermen to stop activities near the border until security situation in the region returned to normal.
