It was reported that the former militant group, MEND had abandoned the camp but now occupied by sea pirates.

Operation Delta Safe, a Joint Task Force (JTF), has raided a suspected militants’ camp in Okosugbene along the Burutu/Warri in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta.
It gathered that the military personnel stormed the camp with two Fighter Jets and about eight Gunboats at about 6 a.m. on Thursday, November 24.
