Maersk Group has started to recover its damaged IT systems following a Petya cyber attack on 27 June that shut down multiple business units and ship terminals. AP Moller-Maersk was one of the victims of a global cyber attack that affected the Ukraine Government and many businesses in different industries.
In a statement Maersk said: “We have contained the issue and are working on a technical recovery plan with key IT partners and global cyber security agencies.”
