A speedboat of the terrorist Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) was seized by members of the Philippine Marines in Banguingui, Sulu on Wednesday.
Authorities on Thursday said the focused military operations led to the confiscation of the vessel in Simisa Island. The bandits were believed to be trapped on the island after the soldiers got hold of their getaway vehicle.
