A MARITIME command center to be funded by the United States (US) Government is set to be established in Ipil town, Zamboanga Sibugay.
“The Provincial Board has already passed a resolution supporting the establishment of a maritime command center in the province,” said Board Member Eufemio Vic Javier in an interview with Sunstar Philippines. The maritime center, under the Philippine National Police, is part of the government’s program to combat piracy and terrorism.
