MAST successfully completes the PSC.1 Stage 1 Audit.

Maritime Asset Security and Training (MAST) Ltd Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) successfully completed the American National Standard ANSI/ASIS PSC.1 Stage 1 Audit.

Having completed the technical review of MAST EOD management system for the quality of Private Security Company's documentation and management tools (methodology), the EOD department demonstrated the relevant conformance and understanding of the standard.

The MAST EOD operation range includes risk assessments, diving, UXO consultancy, EOD, land and underwater surveys, disposal and removal.

The management system has incorporated various documentation and codes of conduct which includes the Montreux Document of 2008 and the International Code of Conduct (ICoC) of 2010, which MAST has supported from its concept to launch.

MAST has articulated its own statement of conformance to comply with the ICoC and upholds its code of conduct in respect of fundamental International Human Rights (IHR), social justice and human dignity, and respect for equal rights of men and women. This will further demonstrate MAST's commitment to human rights, legal obligations and good practises related to operations working in countries where governance and rule have been undermined by conflict or disaster.

It is anticipated that Stage 2 of the American Standard will be completed by November 2014.
