Military Troops Shot Dead Boat Driver, Suspected Pirate In Bayelsa

Two persons were weekend shot dead in Polako community of Yenagoa Local Government Council area of Bayelsa State by troops attached to the Joint Military Task Force code named Operation Delta Safe (ODS).

According to sources, the two were shot dead at the Polako water front on the alleged suspicion of being in possession of sack of Rifles purportedly meant for some unrepentant sea pirates at the Egbedi community of Kolokuma/Opokuma.
