Nigerian Navy Arrests Eight In A’Ibom With Alleged Stolen 501 Drums Of AGO

Uyo – Men of the Nigerian Navy, Forward Operating Base, Ibaka, Mbo local government area, Akwa Ibom State, has intercepted 501 drums of illegal Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) worth about N35 million from eight suspects.

Acting on an intelligence reports  in the early hours of April 5, 2019, the Navy said they intercepted the suspects converging a boat loaded with AGO smuggled in from Oyorokoto in Rivers State along the Calabar channel, leading to Oron river with three Yamaha outboard engines.
