The Nigerian Navy announced on Thursday that its patrol team deployed by Forward Operating Base (FOB) Formoso in Bayelsa State has arrested MV MIDES 2 and two other Cotonou boats for alleged illegal bunkering activities at Sonikiri Community in Nembe LGA of Bayelsa State.
MV MIDES 2 was arrested on November 16, 2016 while carrying out transfer of suspected illegally refined AGO to the Cotonou boats.
The Nigerian Navy issued a statement on Thursday, informing the public of some of its successes.
