Security and infrastructure spending touted to attract investment in Nigeria

NIGERIA has pledged $186m to combat piracy in a bid to safeguard its waters and vessels moving in and out of the country, according to the Nigerian Trade Minister CR Amaechi.

Speaking at Nor-Shipping’s inaugural Africa Podium, Mr Amaechi was keen to allay potential investors’ fears of growing security concerns in Nigeria amid a rise in attacks.
