Spanish fishing firm Pescanova saw one of its vessels attacked pirates off the coast of Mozambique, injuring five crew members and rendering the captain unconscious, Spain’s La Voz de Galicia newspaper reported.
The attack Nov. 5 occurred on the vessel Pescamar 9 belonging to the company’s Mozambique affiliate. Three of the wounded crew members were Spanish and the other two were from Mozambique, the company said.
