Army’s success due to intensified offensives being launched to contain terrorists

ZAMBOANGA CITY
Three more members of the Daesh-linked Abu Sayyaf group have surrendered to government troops in the nation’s troubled southern region, bringing the total number to 114, an official said Wednesday.
The militants under slain Abu Sayyaf sub- leader Alhabsy Misaya, blamed by the military for bomb attacks and a string of kidnappings involving foreigners, yielded to troops in Sulu, said Joint Task Force Sulu commander Brig. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana.
