The governments of the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia have agreed to boost their cooperation against terrorism and violent extremism that continues to threaten the region.
Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Allan Peter Cayetano met with his Indonesian and Malaysian counterparts on Thursday, June 22, amid the Philippine government’s fight against the Islamic State (IS)-inspired Maute group in Marawi City.
