Pirate attack off Calabar

Sources report a pirate attack at 0600 LT, around 30nm off Calabar on March 20th. The vessel attacked was a passenger boat/Ro-ro which travels regularly between Cameroon and Calabar.
Seven armed pirates approached the vessel in one skiff and boarded her. They robbed the passengers before escaping with five hostages, including two crew from the ship. MAST is withholding full details of the incident until we have confirmed it with the appropriate reporting bodies.
