KUALA TERENGGANU: The remand against 10 Indonesian pirates and another person, believed to be the mastermind, for investigation into the attempted hijack of a tanker, MT MGT1 in waters off Terengganu recently, has been extended until Sept 21.
The order to extend the remand was issued by Sessions/Magistare’s Court senior assistant registrar Noradila Abdul Latiff following an application by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) for investigation under Section 392 of the Penal Code, which was for gang-robbery.
