Somalia: Al Shabaab fighters seize Amara village in Mudug region

AMARA, Somalia- Al Qaeda-affiliated Al Shabaab fighters have taken control of the central town of Amara following a deadly clashes against Galmudug state forces on Tuesday, Garowe Online reports.
A resident speaking on a condition of anonymity said the militants have launched attack against military bases manned by Galmudug forces, before seizing full control of the village, which lies south of Mudug region.
