Somalia: Jubbaland, AMISOM troops capture town from Al Shabaab

BADHADHE, Somalia – Jubbaland troops backed by African Union peacekeeping forces on Tuesday have captured a town in southern Somalia from Al Shabaab militants, Garowe Online reports.
Al Shabaab militants withdrew from Badhadhe, a coastal town located about 200 km south of Kismayo, the regional capital of Lower Jubba region after a vast sea and ground offensive by the joint forces.
