There are indications that the Federal Government might terminate the multibillion-dollar maritime surveillance contract between ex-Niger Delta militant leader, Government Tompolo’s firm and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
Global West Vessel Specialists Limited (GWVSL) has an existing Public Private Partnership PPP, agreement with NIMASA for surveillance and patrol of Nigeria’s waters, against oil theft, piracy, sea robberies and kidnapping.
