Weekly Security and Risk Report 30/06/2021

MAST’s weekly security report issue 287 is available to read now.
 
In the past week, the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) urged shipowners to stop crew changes in Mozambique due to an increased risk of attacks and concerns over security in the country.

The report also highlights multiple incidents in South East Asia, none of which resulted in any casualties. Elsewhere, 33 European cities have signed an ‘alliance of safe harbours’ declaration advocating for the just distribution of refugees and migrants in the European Union.
