ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — The Abu Sayyaf group is in disarray over the arrests and deaths of many of its members, a military spokesperson said.
Capt. Jo-Ann Petinglay of the Western Mindanao Command said among the reasons that the Abu Sayyaf group is crumbling is the relentless military operations that have led to the surrender of a number of fighters and leaders.
