Travel risk management
Duty of care, delivered as a system
Travel risk management for organisations moving people across borders and into sensitive regions: assessment, briefing, tracking, and response support.
Travel Risk Management
Duty of care is a legal obligation, not a gesture
Organisations that send people across borders carry a duty of care for their safety. Meeting it is not a matter of a policy document. It requires assessment, briefing, the ability to know where people are, and a plan for when something goes wrong.
What we provide
We provide travel risk management for organisations moving staff and executives into higher-risk regions. This covers pre-travel risk assessment, traveller briefing, in-country tracking, and response support if an incident occurs, all coordinated through the MAST operations centre.
The service scales from occasional executive travel into sensitive regions to organisations with people regularly moving through difficult environments. In every case, the aim is a duty of care that is genuinely delivered rather than documented.
What the service covers
Risk assessment
Understanding the risk of a destination before travel.
Traveller briefing
Preparing people for where they are going.
Tracking
Knowing where travellers are while they are away
Response support
A plan and a capability if something goes wrong.
How we deliver it
We assess the destinations and the nature of the travel, then put in place the appropriate combination of briefing, tracking, and response capability. For lower-risk travel this may be advisory and monitoring. For sensitive regions it can extend to in-country support drawn from the wider division.
The operations centre holds the picture throughout: where travellers are, what the current risk is, and how to respond if an incident occurs. That turns duty of care from a written policy into an active capability.
