“I just wanted to give some feedback on MAST security. I can only say that they are amazing. Since they have been with us at Bournemouth every weekend since June, we have seen a dramatic decrease in ticketless travel and antisocial behaviour. The first few weekends we saw a lot of push back from customers who had no tickets as they have been used to being able to push through and get away with behaving antisocially. But over the last month, we have seen vast improvements, and I have nothing but praise for them and I'm sure the Southampton and Bournemouth Revenue teams will concur along with station staff. We see the same faces from the security team most weeks and they are always looking after us, helping customers and assisting us on dealing with customers who are more challenging and/or don't have tickets. I hope that this is a long-term arrangement with them as the progress made at Bournemouth station especially has been incredible to see.”
