Job Description
The shifts will be working 4 on 4 off Nights
The shift times will be 1900 – 0700.
There will be overtime available for anyone wanting to pick additional hours.
In this role you will be looking after 3 resident buildings in Canning Town.
You will be expected to have a good level of customer service as you will be dealing with people and residents frequently.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Provide entry and egress control through the building intercoms and barriers/shutters.
- Greeting staff/residents and people into building(s).
- Patrolling of internal buildings and floors.
- Patrolling of external spaces throughout Hallsville Quarter and communal areas.
- Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site and buildings.
- Administrative work such as robust handovers, emails and responding to resident queries and parking requirements.
- Dealing with security incidents on site and completing incident report forms.
Qualifications:
- SIA Security license, Front line Security Guarding, Door Supervision
- Proven work experience as a Security officer or equivalent position
- Experience of delivering excellent Customer Service
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Some computer experience, ability to write clear daily written reports.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Experience of working as part of a team or independently
